I just added a “Lifestyle/LIfe hack” category to TheWiseBuck – About once per week, or more, I will be writing a post that will show you how to do something and/or how to do it faster, easier, with a lot less hassle and often times for free.

After all, one of the beauties of the internet is that we have instant access to free information.  If you want to learn how to do something or again, how stuff works, you can simply Google the term and you will have a variety of alternate sources to choose from, right at your finger tips.

I think I mentioned that over the weekend, I dropped a few things in my garbage disposal during one of my past cooking experiments and the next morning, my disposal would not turn on.  It was flatlining.   My first inclination was that I was going to probably be stuck having to call a plumber and shell out $100.   Well, I thought I’d go onto You Tube and search for “How To fix a Garbage disposal.  Look what I found:

Problem solved.  Then I got thinking even more…

So, a little later I was thinking about how to do stuff – things like:

-how to make a playlist from different sources

-how to edit videos

-how to change my oil

-how to play chess

-how to travel to Costa Rica cheaply

You know all those things you wanted to learn how to do but were either too lazy or afraid to ask?

Well, I came across this site called How Stuff Works and I have to say it is one of my favorite new sites.  But I must warn you: Do not click on the link until you have at least a half hour becuase the site will suck you in!

Everything from Sports, Arts, Money, Paying off Credit Card Debt and a lot more.  Check it out and let me know what you think!
