Here is a list of what I am reading and listening to this weekend.
The Housing Market - Mark Hanson Interview on King World News
“Mark Hanson is Founder and Managing Director of MHanson Advisors a 20 year veteran of the mortgage industry. Mark consults for investment funds and he has appeared on CNBC, Fox Business, Bloomberg, Barrons, Wall Street Journal, Forbes and more. Mark gives the kind of interview you will never hear in the mainstream media regarding the realities of the real estate market in the United States. Mark covers foreclosures, different failed government programs, shadow inventory, how a storm is coming and it will hit by mid-term elections making it difficult for incumbents, what it will take to unfreeze the real estate markets and much more.”
Robert Prechter on Financial Sense on ‘The End Game’ – Bob Prechter is a deflationist. In this interview with Jim Puplava, Bob explains how he sees the financial crisis playing out. Whether you agree with him or not, he is worth listening to as he shares his views as to how this plays out. For the record, I agree with about 50% of Bob’s analysis.
Opening Up New Frontiers – For something a little new and different, Kevin writes about opening up new frontiers and Seasteading on Invest It Wisely.
Andrew Hallamhas a nice write up on how the U.S. and World markets have done over the last 2 years and talks about how to handle volatile markets.
