Two of life’s biggest mysteries are love and money.  I doubt you woke up this morning and asked yourself about the history of money. However, think about it; how much of your life and your time is spent in some way on love and money? How much do these two forces drive your thoughts and actions? I don’t have love advice and I am not going to tell you what to do with your money.  However, if you ever want to solve the mystery of money, I believe it’s helpful to understand it’s history and where it comes from.  

The following video explains how money is created and where is comes from. The “ironic” thing is that today, money is backed by debt. Specifically, the only way a bank is able to give you more of your own money is if its loans are paid back. This is where the word “fiat” comes from. Take a few minutes and watch this video. It will give you a much better understanding of the world around you. Parts of it will probably shock you as well.
